Aqua-Bound's best-selling kayak paddle for good reason, the Sting Ray Hybrid combines a full carbon shaft with durable fiberglass reinforced blades to deliver a noticeable performance upgrade over all-nylon paddles at a price that makes sense.

The abXII fiberglass reinforced nylon blades are redesigned with a sharper dihedral for a flutter-free, quiet stroke and a stiffer feel that transfers power more efficiently than standard nylon. At 91 sq. in., the slender mid-sized blade is well suited to the relaxed, horizontal stroke style that low-angle paddlers use on long days across Canadian lakes and flatwater routes. The thicker, more durable blade construction holds up through seasons of regular use without losing its shape or stiffness.

At 30 oz., the 100% carbon ovalized shaft is noticeably lighter than comparable hybrid paddles, reducing arm fatigue on extended paddles and providing a comfortable, blister-resistant grip. The Posi-Lok ferrule with carbon insert adjusts blade offset in 15-degree increments and holds its setting reliably for years of use.
